surely if something was going to improve the life of your engine, or give you smoother running and better mpg,im sure the big boys would be marketing such products.only time ive used one its for injector cleaning,prior to mot,as i do low and around town journeys.So empty whole bottle in half a tank and find a dual carriageway and run the car at 70 ish for about 10 miles.Seems to work,pass emission test

They are a total waste of money- an oil change gives better results. rather than bother with injector cleaner, a good old Italian tune up (a REALLY good caning in the lower gears...) has the same effect.
