The lock on the boot of my car can no-longer be opened using the correct key. It seems to be jammed somehow. I've had the seats out but cannot easily get to the lock from the inside.

Is there an electrical (or mechanical) trick to getting the boot lock released?

The central locking only ever locks/deadlocks the boot and according to the manual for the car, the only way to open the boot is with the key!!!
