Anyone know the best place to go for cheaper Taxi Insurance?

taxi insurance is never cheap,as only certain companies do it,just google it and see what comes up.

Passenger vehicle insurance is a minefield unless you insure it with a specialist insurer but taxi especially tend to have higher insurance premiums due to the number of drivers that often drive the same vehicle plus the number of driving offences many have on their licences

Thanks, I am new to the taxi game having recently passed the exam and got my badge.
I was astonished at how wildly the qutoations vary, given the same details. I knew the insurance would be more but �1400 comprehensive is about the cheapest I can find.
One company wanted 2.5 grand.

There will only be myself driving the car.
I think the reason it is so high is because let's say for example if you have a crash carrying 4 passengers. The chances are they will each be claiming for whiplash - hence the premiums they charge.
