hi there my boyfreind failed his driving test again. he's in a deep depression. intrestingly one of our friends suggested driving instructors have to pass so many and fail so many drivers a day who knows much about this if anything at all, cheers in advance
driving examiners,do not have quotas,as to fail some and pass some, you will pass your test if you show you can drive a car on the highway in a safe manner, your boyfriend is,by the sound of it not ready to be unleashed on the general road public yet.
What your friend said is total rubbish. Possibly designed to make your boyfriend feel better but is unlikely to help him in the long run.
But there is no shame in failing your driving test, the idea is for it to be difficult, what I would suggest is that if he is taking private lessons he should change his driving instructor, it could be that his current instructor is not picking up on something he might be doing wrong.
If he isn't taking private lessons I suggest he does so.
I'm a synical sort so feel free to ignore this part ;) but is it not in his instructors interest for him not to pass.
hi he failed as he drove thru a closed junction, without stopping., he never seen it
driving instructor said he's up to test standard..i guess he should pay more attention when driving then
cheers for response.
he takes at least 2 hourly private lesson per week, and usually 1 just before the test.
he's now over his depression and determined to get it this time. 4th time lucky?!!
