For all Mini Owners
I am biting the bullet...selling my trusty 4x4, and am thinking about getting a Mini. Mr Pippa insists it must be a Cooper, so my questions are: 1) Is he right in his insistance that the Cooper is the better option? 2) Is it wise to downsize so severely? 3) Are they as fun as the vintage ones? I am going to be arranging a test-drive, but thought as this is a lazy Sunday you lot might give me some pointers! Cheers in advance :o)

I won't be going for a Ford. To be honest I think they tend to be overpriced as you don't really get a lot for your money. I have owned BMWs in the past so I know what I am getting regarding build quality...ditto Ford!
Mr P obviously pefers the Cooper as he is a bloke, but I think the One would do me fine as I am not that bothered about speed ;o)

Why spend all that money when you can so much fun from a Fiat Panda 100HP.5 Doors, less that 9000 brand new, cheaper insurance, much more exclusive, more luggage space and as much fun to drive as an original Mini (I've one of those too). The BMW Mini is fine if you're an Estate Agent and you get one free
I already have an old Volks Beetle, tatoo. She only comes out occasionally, and currently needs some welding..but I agree, a superb car :o)
steffomini ~ I had an original mini and couldn't get on with it. My question was for new Mini owners, and a Fiat isn't in the equation I'm afraid!
I am test driving this week, so may be disappointed anyway..
