fuel cut off reset

my fuel cut out was recently pressed by accident on my fiat punto, its 97 plate and since then i obviously cant start it how can i reset it? if i still have no joy what else could it be? thanks

A quick search seems to suggest it is under or beside the passenger seat, possibly under a smooth grey plastic cover.
