Leak on cooling system

Hi all I have a leak somewhere on my cooling system. I'm having to top up the tank every couple of hundred miles. It's a Vauxhall Corsa SXI, 16V, 1.2 - 1999 reg. Can anyone give me some tips on where to check for a DIY repair before I take it to a garage and pay a fortune because "I'm a female and know nothing about cars"! Thanks tons in advance.

I think a radiator seal will do it such as Radweld,also check to see if the hoses are all connected correctly
