Your postings a bit vague Mandy, if you mean the 'Keycode' which you need after disconnecting the battery you'll have to go to a Ford dealers and Pay 20 -30 to have it traced, unless you've got a note of it.
In that case the Ford dealer is your only hope, if you're absolutely certain the previous owner hasn't pencilled the Keycode somewhere in the handbook.
I had an Escort until the local scummery burnt it out, but I've got the audio handbook with instructions to unlock the radio via the Keycode, which must be followed to the letter. If you try incorrectly three times it locks it for two hours, but after ten wrong attempts you've had it, it's permanently disabled.
So do let me know if you haven't got the unlocking intructions.
I'm a bit baffled by that, because I had to tip up twenty - odd quid to got the number for my earlier Escort, admittedly some years ago.
You wouldn't be so kind as to advise exactly how to get the numbers off eBay would you? I haven't got the numbers for my present car, and as it's a Volvo I expect it will be very dear.
mandy if anyone needs a code then they shouldnt pay for it on ebay when they can go to my site at http://www.31bubblegum.proboards54.com
we decode most models of radios there FOR FREE!!!!
