Hi All, I hope some one can help me? I have a Mercedes C220 CDI W203, I need to purchase another key as I only have one, On E Bay you can buy these keys for a good price, my local dealer says they cannot be programmed and that I have to purchase from him, for �200.00 plus vat. I think he just wants me to buy from him and is giving me a load of twaddle. Does any one know if a second hand key can be programmed and if so can I do it myself?

Go to a local scrap yard. many cars end up at a scrappers with all the locks fully working.

A nice smile and a bit of begging will get most fellas to fit them for you.

The dealer is not talking twaddle ! On my car only new keys can be programmed to my car.
