Corsa GLS Brakes went slack

Hi all

Whislt Driving in my Corsa GLS the other day my brakes went completely slack as I was heading towards the back of a car. I tryed them again and the pedal went all the way down without any pressure. I managed to pull into a petrol station and turned the engine off, When I turned it back on the brakes started to work again.

Is this a air bubble in the brake fluid? Someone said to me that I should still have some pressure on the pedal when I push down if it was an air bubble, so if it's not that is there any other reason for this to happen.

Take it to a garage and get them to fix it - not a job for you unless you know what you are doing.
Nothing to do with air bubbles.

sounds like u have a leak in the braking system somewhere, most probably a pipe or a rear wheel cylinder. modern cars are designed nowadys with a split diagonal braking system in that in the event of failure you would still have a small amount of hydraulic pressure going to one front wheel and one rear wheel in order to slow the car down . take it to a garage.
