Tesco ready mixed Antifreeze- will it be okay for my car?

are all anti freeze not compatible for all vehicles? i thought they were untill i went to halfords the other day and the man said to me before i buy the ready mixed antifreeze for my car, i need to check if it would be compatible for my car in the cars manual. but i dont have the manual, so how do i find out which one is compatible?

anyways i went to tesco today and spot a ready mixed antifreeze that said on it 'suitable for all types of engines', so will that one be okay for my car? i have a w reg vauxhall corsa 1.2 petrol.

As my fathers worked in the motor trade for over 30 years, on reading this i asked him personally i thought suspicious and that what a load of twolap, n i was correct, obviously the guy was trying to make you buy the more expensive brand. As anti freeze only runs through your rad u are able to use any mix or concentrate, but you must note, if you do have an inter cooler you must use specialist anti freeze.
