Engine Management light

The engine management light comes on in my punto whenever i exceed 60 mph, flashes until i decrease speed-anyone know what might be the prob???

hi, u really need to get it on to a diagnostics machine at ur local fiat garage, or it may just be a wiring fault, has it been in for a service or any work recently?, it could have been knocked, or some manufacters set up the car so the engine light comes on when the car needs a service, its a gimmick to get u to service ur car! i know on renaults the air bag light comes on when it needs a service!

Thanks for your response. The air bag light is constantly on too so perhaps a service is what it needs. I only bought it a month ago (5 yrs old) and they didnt give me service history so i wouldnt know. Thanks again
