ESP/EDL Warning light

I have a IV Golf GT TDi. Recently i have had a new steering rack assembly fitted. Since this work has been done, the warning light on the dash for the ESP/ABS/EDL appears after driving for approx 5 mins, and this stays lit until the ignition is switched off. Can anyone give me some reasons as to why this could be happening please.
