Has anyone used Nationwide Autocentres for servicing their car ? Are they any good ?

yes they are very good ( but ) they seem to all ways ring you up during the service with some little thing extra to do ( if you want it done ). like your indicator bulbs are not very orange any more would you like them changing . only �6
or your high level brake lights have a few bulbs out ETC

just say no to these little extras as they are not usually legalities .

other wise there are verry good

they use cheap inferior parts,cheap crap oil,and try it on with things that dont really need doing to bump up the price.

a non orange indicator bulb would fail an mot but in most cases im sure folk could sort this out themselves for a bit cheaper than 6 quid!!!!

My experience of Nationwide Autocentres is not a good one. They damaged the boot of my car by reversing the car with it open and hitting something and bending the hinges, the manager denied they ever drove cars with the bonnets, boots or doors open. As he denied it, a mechanic drove a car in with the bonnet open, he then agreed to put right the damage. They also mis-diagnosed a leaking head gasket on 3 occasions, leaving me with a �1700 bill, because it was finally diagnosed after my warranty ran out. They also charged for hoses they had changed which had nothing wrong with them, during their ''diagnosis''. I personally think they are rubbish and will never use them again. Find a good mechanic, recommended by people who have used them.

crap! more than sent my car there to be repaired as part of an insurance claim. biggest mistake of my life. i have a yellow audi a3. thay brought the car back a different shade where the repair was. i sent it back they did it again and so on . it didn't get siolved they had 3attempts and morethan sent there own independant bodies out to reveiw it and agreed it was a bodge job. nevertheless they sent it to shorade in cannock and it was stunning. i made more than pay for a monthly payment on my car had 200 compensATION i am not happy with nationwide they use cheap crap
