Both times I have taken my car out today after a few miles the engine died. Both times it started again but I dont like this happening. What could it be and will it keep happening? Somebody help!

fuel filter ever been changed ?...not to much goes wrong with diesels..
that is the most probable caus, chas but it's not always the obvious, another reason could be a blocked vent to the fuel tank, which would almost certainly cause this problem, as it creates a vacuumm as the engine runs,
If it was the fuel filter it is unlikely the car would start up again so easily, one way to test tis is to run the car with the filler cap removed, and the neck covered by a nylon stocking or something, held in place by a rubber band,
as you say, not too much to go wrong with diesels.
could also be the EGR valve which has been a common fault with the focus and c-max TDCIs of that age.

just thought it possible on a such a low mileage it might not of been changed or overlooked and not taken into account the age of the vehicle ,6+years..
