It used to be common to put a small amount of petrol in to the diesel tank during winter to stop it waxing. You have put very little petrol in to a large tank - keep it topped up for a while to further dilute it.
Should be no noticeable effects for such a small amount

if it is a newer landy with a common rail engine then you could have expencive problems with the fuel pump and injectors
if it is an older model with a rotary type pump then it is less likely that you will have these problem
diluting the petrol with as much diesel as possible you might get away with it
i am not a landrover specialist so dont take this as gospel

that small amount shouldnt really make any difference, although after using a few gallons i would be topping it up to dilute it further...On the positive side at least you realised before it went to far...then your hubby would of had the hump..My son-in-law recentley managed to do it on holiday..70..lost fuel, 150 +vat to drain it...luckily no lasting damage..
