brake lights on my suzuki vitara don't work,i've changed the fuses & the light bulbs & all the relays have been checked but the brake lights still don't work any suggestions please

next Finance outstanding on my vehicle by ex partner and i am registered keeper can i get into trouble if he does not pay finance

Check the brake light switch, should be near the pedal shaft.
