peugot 106 light switch

hi alls,does anyone now how to replace the h/light stalk switch on pug 106 k reg,does any part of the dash have to come off?as ive took the steering cowlings off,unscrewed the 2 screws that keep it in situ,but there is not enough room to slide the switch off?without moving some part of the dash or steering column-many thanks.

The part you refer to should slide up the column but bear in mind the security bolts that hold the column to the dash, when you start this job make sure you mark the removal componants & also remove the Battery Live feed, also make sure you have the radio code.
