Audi A3 Oil Light

Hello, I have a Audi A3 TDI 2.0 and my oil light keeps coming on for no reason.

I have checked the oil and its all fine and within the correct levels.

Can anyone suggest why this might be happening??

Chances are it's a faulty sender unit. BUT it could be that your oil pump is malfunctioning. If that's the case, part of your engine may be starved of oil.
Really, get it checked out by a professional. It may save you a couple of grand for a new engine.

Is it due a service? Even though the oil level is fine, maybe the light is coming on becuase of the quality of the oil is not what it should be.
