ticks over ok .lots white smoke on acceleration and hesitant draind fuel replaced new still smokes a lot

White smoke? Could it be steam perhaps? Is the car losing water into the engine somewhere, maybe the head gasket?

You will have to get it to a diesel specialist, needs the pump adjusting.

PS you can give me the perfectly good fuel you drained out.
