how to change a car part
I have a renault megane scenic 1.6 alize Jan1999. I need to change the lower steering ball joints. I have bought the correct parts and have a good knowledge of the car and general repairs, But i dont want to pay massive garage bills if i can do it my self. It looks easy in the haynes manual, but i'd like some advice. Are they hard to replace ? if not can any 1 give advice on changing them.

Once you have jacked the car up make sure you back up the jack with axle stands!!
Always get the tracking done after renewing the joints.
As you have called them "Lower Steering BallJoints" I presume you mean the Ball joints just behind the wheel hubs not the Track Rod Ends.Joints, to get the proper instructionsfor that go to this forum..............
