Trying to identify car manufacturer by its badge

I have now seen two beautiful looking cars with the same emblem and I cannot identify the manufacturer. I can't find any pics of the badge online and am beginning to think i'm going mad. If I hadn't seen 2 on separate occasions i'd think i'd dreamed it up.

The badge is similar to that of Citroen, but it is just one chevron, and is much wider and shallower than the Citroen chevron. The badge was chrome/silver and approx 5" wide and 2-3" high.

Can anyone help?

Nope, there was no circle around it and the chevron was the other way up. Both cars were very expensive looking, similar to an Aston Martin Vantage or Jaguar XKR if that helps.

this one emblem seems to fit the bill but unlikely I suppose, depends on the car you were looking at, was it a large or small car?

the link is from a cadillac

I thought the chevron was the other way up but I could've been wrong as it does look very similar. However, there was no other badge above it (at least not at the rear) and the 2nd car I saw it on was definitely new. The 1st car I only saw properly from the rear and it could well have been a Cadillac as it was very wide and quite boxy. It struck me as more of an 'executive' car though so maybe it was a new Cadillac with a classic badge on it?? Both cars were big, but the 2nd was more of a Jaguar XKR shape like this...

methyl, that's pathetic ;o)

I guess so, but I thought everyone knew what an Aston looked like! the XKR is very like an Aston, so you're probably right.

I'd rather a Maserati myself....
