The battery run out in my key fob, so i've had to put the key in door to lock/unlock the car. It was fine for a few days and then i locked it as usual but went back to it 5 mins later, unlocked it and the alarm went off and i've had problems with it ever since. I changed the battery in the fob but it still doesn't work, I can't lock my car for short periods of time because the alarm will go off and i would have to wait approx 30 mins for it to reset itself. Someone mentioned that i need to get the fob re-programmed to the car, but it still shouldn't be going off like that!? Has this happened to anyone?

Since you let the key fob batteries discharge completely, I suggest you programme all the keys fitted with remote control.1.have all the keys with remotes 2.turn ignition to 1st position(1) for at least 10sec confirm the clock led comes on,for minimum 5sec. 3.with the led light still on turn ign off and remove key.(PROGRAMMING MODE ON FOR 20 SEC.)
4.point key to receiver (near interior lamp) while pressing the single triangle button on key.led on key will flash once after 1 sec.5. press lock button 2 triangles 3 times. release the unlock button single triangle while pointing key at receiver, key and clock leds will flash 5 times. repeat the above procedure for other keys in 20 sec.
PROGRAMMING MODE EXIT/CLOCK LED OFF: TURN IGNTION SWITCH ON /OFF WAIT 20 SEC.
