I bought this with no instructions and dont know how to use it. It is a heavy metal one and weighs about 15lbs plus with large alligator clips.
On the front there are 3 switches. on/off. 12v/6v. and one with start and charge.
The meter has a scale with charging then boost. Dont understand how to work it properly.
Can anyone tell me how to work this.

Hi, there should be a normal 3 pin plug to charge the unit up, there as you said 12v + 6v, one is for cars the other Motorbikes Etc, the indicator window on the unit should indicate whether the unit is fully charged or not, put the Positive + to the Positive on your car Battery + and Negative - to - on your car battery, when starting your car use the unit on it's own, but on saying that it can be used plugged into your home plugs, the scale on the Indicator gives you the time it will take to recharge the battery. I hope this helps Theviking.

Hi thanks. it does say on front battery charger. Are you saying this could be used as starter as well long as its plugged into the mains.
Yes, you can use it to charge your battery, & Booster to charge your car, this is going off your description.
