ford escort warning lights

hello
i have a mk3 ford escort first registered in 1983. i have a number of warning lights that flash after i9 have strated the car which then disappear after about 10 minutes. do you have any images or a brief decription as to what the warning lights represent?

The warning light came on on my Astra and the cam belt promptly snapped while I was driving it.

It could be a number of things.

Some models have monitoring sensors on oil dipstick, washer fluid and a couple of others which can flash warning lights. Check around for those senders. They used to give a lot of problems.
