starter motor.
If your battery requires water " Top it up" check the - + Connections, check & clean the connections at the starter end, but make sure that the car is in neutral when you clean at the starter. " SAFETY IN MIND"
if your battery was flat it would'nt start at all so it must be a starter motor fault or a loose connection somewhere..try the battery terminals to see if there tightand the lead on the starter motor, make sure its not loose
Starter ..
or maybe the main starter lead connection, or the engine earth strap.
