Best Tyre to buy

Hi, I have an Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDi and I'm soon going to need 4 new tyres. It's on Michelins now but I'm looking for something a bit less pricey! Has anyone got any experience or suggestions as to what is good? I don't just want to fit "ditchfinders". Incidentally the size is 235/40ZR18. Thanks for any advice .

I have 18's on my a3 and usually use NANKANG NSRII , they are part of YOKOHAMA.
prices vary from £100 - £130 a corner depending on where you go for them.
I've had a few cars with these tyres on and they're pretty decent.

Costco sell Michelins at a reasonable price. Failing that I would recommend Continentals.

Hi Albags,
Yes I read your old reply. I didn't know you had worked on the VC-10s at BZN. There are usually eight or so parked up in various states of repair. The FSTA programme is behind schedule so the 10s will be flying for much longer than planned. The C-130s will be arriving from Lyneham shortly.

We knew that would happen tho.
FR mods (at Hurn) started while I was there about 1993.
I was on D. FLC of all jobs for my last year.
Usually a couple in Base hangar (one with BaE overhaul) .. a couple downroute .. One on washpan ... and rest parked up!
I know 'em all. Miss those sunday morning full power 4 engine runs on the tubes : )
