Neither of my screenwash are working. They used to, then we had all of the bad weather and they clearly froze, but now they are not working at all. There is not even any 'whirr' when I try to squirt them, indicating an empty tank.

Any non-expensive solutions?!

If there is no 'whirr' then it would seem that the pump is not working - rather that frozen - or lack of water.

Check the fuses and if needs be replace
You might have burned the pump out if it was frozen and you tried to use it. It frequently happens with wiper motors when the wipers are frozen to the windscreen.

Washer motors are cheap and easy to fit yourself. It depends on your car but I bought a new washer pump for my Mk2 Golf recently and it cost £8.91 (that being said, my brother has an Audi A4 and I think his was £450!) It might be worth checking the fuse first though.
