What other class of vehicle can a qualified bus driver legally drive?

Depends on the PCV licence held by the bus driver, there are different levels similar to HGV types.

I'm talking about a regular double decker bus (not a minibus)...
Thats it then...he can drive a PCV (Class D). To have obtained this he must have a full car driving licence too (Class B). Obviously he could be qualified for other things (motorbike, LGV etc) but these are not covered by the bus licence.
Most if not all double deck buses are automatics in my experience. So, possibility is that the PCV is automatic as well.
I had to get a manual 'stickshift' licence as well when they wanted me to do some private coach work.
