Best Motorbike For Commuting?
2 Answers
Hi,
Can anyone give me advice on the best motorcycle to buy? I have passed my DAS and would like a bike that will be used for fair weather commuting to work (30 miles - mostly duel carriageway and motorway).
I want one that will be fun (for weekend jaunts), but also economical (for the commute). I am not really a fan of sportsbikes - a more comfortable riding position suits me better.
Other than that I have no idea!
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi fellow biker:
I have long been a fan of the enduro style of bike which gives me the sit up style of riding and therefore easier on the back and arms for longer runs. If you stray towards this end of the market you will find shaft driven models which will cut down on your maintenance but not on the fun factor.
Try the BMW gs range older models still excellent value as build quality is there from production. Second hand luggage always on e bay.
