I am going to have a "sken" at a T110 next month and if It's "owt like" I will probably buy it with a view to riding it this summer and breathing on it next winter.
Right then, I am asking the question early but I would like someone to tell me where I can get all the "gen" about it (clubs etc) or a web site.
I will need info about the specification, colour etc before I rebuild it.
Also it would be very handy to know a bit about T 110s before I go to look.
I hope someone (or three) has some info and many thanks in anticipation.

Just google "triumph Tiger 110"

It brings up 105000 sites, you might find something there.
It's a gutless hunk of junk, you need an R1 you do!

Thanks fer that "geezer" but I am talking 50 year old "junk" and I'm 10 year older than that so the last thing I want is an R 1
fair enough mate, have fun, just remember those bikes have brakes made of tissue paper so be careful!
Go for it ceejay !

I would rather have any of the older Triumph 500s than a screaming Jap crap.

I do ride a Kwaka 500 traily though.
Get yourself a copy of Old Bike Mart its full of information on old bikes and ones for sale, where you get parts their web site is www.oldbikemart.co.uk you have to subscribe only about 12 quid a year. Y ou wont find it in the shops. I have restored a few bikes now and you should be able to get everything you will need. Good luck
I owned and rode a 1960 T110 way back and did a lot of modifications to mine and some where in my files I still have the orighinal Log book for the bike. I could out sprint a Bonneville on the 1/4 mile and top end. The only trouble was stopping it even with the twin leading front brake. The pre unit was a great engine especially with the slick shift gear box.
