kawasaki 400 zxr

i have a kawasaki 400cc motorcycle and unfortunatly the head gasket has blown, can anybody tell me if they have one of these bikes and have done this type of job on the bike, and what is the work involved to change the gasket also is there any special tools required. any help would be most apprieciated.
