Technically, you can drive one if your licence has a C1 or above category on it. There is no other legal requirement, but I was told very early on in my driving career "if you don't know, don't be afraid to ask". You will certainly need to know how the beavertail works. You will also have to be aware that the turning circle will be much larger and beware of the overhang at the back. Tachograph laws will also apply to this vehicle, so you should know the relevant driving hours laws (your firm has a legal obligation to provide you with training if you don't know), how to fill in a chart or if its a newer vehicle fitted with a digital tacho, you will need to apply for a digital tacho drivers card (38 I think).
You could call the RHA ( Road Haulage Association ) and get the number for BASTOR training - guy is called Gary Naraido. He will help in any way i'm sure.

Make sure you tell him that Eddie from CSG has told you to call.

Any problems - let me know.

sddsddean is correct but be aware if you tow a trailer that will take you over your 7.5 tonne permitted weight and you will need C1+E
