I am doing my class one training and finding the reverse manoeuvre really tricky. I am training for 6 days, test on the 7th. I have had 4 days and still have not mastered the reversing. Any advice/tips appreciated.

Tell your instructor that you want to keep going over the reversing manoeuvres until YOU are happy that you've got it !!
(there is a little trick they can do with a bit of sticky tape . . .)
Is that the one where you have to reverse around the cones then into a small bay and stop before you hit the pallets?

Hi, with respect if you do not sort that part out now god help you if you get into a delivery address that you have to jack knife the trailer to get into their yard, the only thing I can advise you to do, Is take your time in the reverse, you also get Third Axle steer on trailers & they can come around fairly quick, can anyone remember the 4 in lines? they were a right Bsd, they had to be treated with respect otherwise you would have the trailer over, back to your question, if you feel you are not ready for your test due to the reversing put it off, until you are ready you are better doing that than failing.
Very basically its opposite lock to get the trailer going in the right direction then same lock to keep it going. Go slow and use small amounts of lock. If you have the space, forget about the actual reversing exercise for a bit and just go and 'play' and see what happens with different amounts of lock etc. Unfortunately this is one thing that can only be picked up from experience...you can't just be taught it. You just need lots of practice.
