Sold as seen
3 Answers
We sold a scooter 10 days ago for a very low price, of which I used upto a week before I sold. We firstly had this on ebay which is where the guy got my number and agreed to do this privately. The buyer has telephoned today to say the back wheel will not go round, do we have to keep helping as I feel the ownership of this has been passed. The gentleman and his friend both tried out the scooter before paying and he has used this for the last 9 days. Help what should I tell the gentleman.

DO NOT offer to assist him in any way, including advising him on any repairs,as you could be held liable should any damage be caused due to your advice. point out that this is a used vehicle, sold in a private sale, and as such does not come with any guarantee.
