had a problem with car just cutting out while driving now sat in drive and wont start at all wondering whether could be fuel cut off solenoid and if so where is it ?

Don't know the cut off solenoid is but I wouldn't have thought it was that anyway. It's hard to say for definite, but I suspect  air is getting into the fuel system.Have you tried bleeding the fuel system, it should be a five minute job. Or check the fuel filter isn't blocked.
