my 2002 transit is petrol/lpg, need to fit a tow bar on it next week, will the lpg gas tank get in the way when having the towbar fitted.
should i mention this to the towbar company before i book, and do you think it will it make any difference to the price of fitting?
many thanks

Yes .. You should mention it. They will want to look at the installation and tank position first.
What tank is fitted exactly? Ring tank .. or one without a hole?
Hopefully it can be fitted without dropping the tank. If it cannot be, you will need to run the tank out of fuel .. or as low as you can, and then have it disconnected and dropped first, and refitted afterwards.
i wouldnt of thought a towbar company would want to get involved with removing & fitting LPG parts.I would certainly mention to be on the safe side it if its a Witter/Towsure type bar they are fitting which it probably is there should be plenty of room.
But we don't know what sort of tank it is.
We fitted loads of different types .. some underneath Espace's which had to be designed around a towbar .. some not.
If the OP answered might help more.
Towbar fitters will not disturb LPG .. They will turn around and go home.
