fiesta Diesel Thermostat

My Thermostat reading has recently dropped from normal to the reading below that then it jumps back up again and every so often the whole display including the red warning light flashes. System not leaking Heater working ok. Any ideas please

Dodgy connection I would think in the wiring loom or at the instrument panel.

Going on a cruise on tuesday and didn't want any trouble on way to port. looked under bonnet but everything is so cramped under there couldn't see what i was looking for.
dash panels play up on these, common problem ask any ford tech...

from what i remember its the printed curcuit but unlike some vehicles it only comes complete with the instrument cluster.
No-one has even asked .. or been told WHAT Fiesta model it is! They have beeen making Fiestas since the 70's .. and diesels since about '84.

No-one has even mentioned the temp sender .. easy to replace and a few quid.

not quite sure how the temp sender would cause that ?
I agree this makes it a late model. My Mk3 diesel only had a glowplug light.
Still no model info though : )
