You need to get it to a competent mechanic PDQ or get a pre MOT check done.
Maybe your tracking is way out and needs adjusting.

ye, maybe i should do that, had the tracking done aswell as 4 wheel alignment
First thing I'd check is your tyre pressures. then, as others said, get a garage to check your tracking and geometry on the front end.
i seriously doubt your username if you have almost been killed on a "FEW" occasions, and are asking on a website instead of getting it fixed!
Get the shock absorbers checked.

I had a Fiesta which pulled to one side under breaking; the cause was a broken shock absorber. Further, a tendency to understeer is a classic symptom of worn shock absorbers.

Chris
From what you have said, have you had the Steering Coupling U/J's checked? Power steering? have you had the oil level checked? Bottom ball joints N/S + Off/side?
Oil level?
Power steering, are you talking about youir own car Top Driver?
cheap tyres can be lethal, the pro tyre fitters call them 'deathslides' or 'ditchfinders', they are so hard they just dont stick.....
Question Author
ye, all the ball joints are new,new inner outer tie rod ends, then only thing that hasn't been replaced is the steering rack, and knuckle, obviously, i take it down to a speed which doesn't get me killed because i know exactly what is happening, but when my car slides across i have to steer as wide as i can without crossing the lines which is dangerous when you have to do that, it feels like there is too much play between the steering and the wheels, in Ireland, there are not many mechanics that have a clue near me, so i go on this
I replaced the p.s.pump on my old cat top, I had concerns regards the steering, after the replacement, no probs. You might get some information off Google if you check!!!!!!!!!!
Certainly all the professionals here today then.

I bet you have crap tyres fitted, eh? What make and type are they?
Federal? Recuts?
Also ... what are the discs like? They are cheap enough to replace.
Question Author
firenza tyres are fitted on back, and finity on front, not re-cuts, but the disks, i suppose could do with a change, but the under steering, is what bothers me, it feels like the steering is going the opposite way to in which i steer at times, feels like to much play
On a Fiesta (it is a Fiesta, right?) badly corroded discs/semi-seized caliper will cause bad pull to one side when braking.
TR ends or lower wishbone balljoint will not cause that issue. Nor will rack.
Steering UJ (above rack) can give impression of lack of steering control .. semi-seizing is popular on these cars.
I don't like sound of those tyres .. sorry.

it's a bmw
Sounds like you need to get this deathtrap off the road and fixed before you kill yourself or other people

Can't believe you have continued driving it in this condition
