Worst car you've owned?
What's the worst car you've ever owned in regards to reliability and annoyance? I've owned some bangers in my time (i've never seen the point in spending more than a couple of grand on a car, mostly a lot less), but none come close to the Renault Laguna I have now. It has an amazing ability in that as soon as i fix one problem another appears.

Cost me £50, had it for nearly three years, went all over Europe in it, and then after the gearbox went BANG in Runcorn and left gear oil and bits of metal all over the road I sold it for £20.
i've found out recently that renaults are a big no! and fiat stands for fix it again tomorrow. my worst buy was a ford ka that i had to scrap after just 12 months for various things but the worse thing to put up with was np heating in the car. (i had same problem in my house at the time too...that was one cold uncomfortable winter!)
We once had a wonderful old VW Beetle it was old when we bought it from Hitler I think. The OH and his mates drove down to London in it for the FA cup Final, and the lads in the back were saying their feet were getting wet, He didn't know it was so rusty the rain was getting through the back floor, He go rid of it after that.

I will say this very quietly, because maybe then I won't get drowned out by the ensuing laughter. I owned one of the first Ladas to come over from Russia. My then husband loved being different and decided that, as we were living in Germany and winters were very very cold, the best car to get would be one from Siberia! GREAT!!!!!
So, it arrived, fanfares blazing and looked ... well, unbelievably boring! No niceties at all! Stop, I must correct that. It had in its boot all the spare parts you could imagine with which to rebuild the engine and gearbox (in case they died while out on the icy tundra!), all neatly packed into an amazing huge canvas holdall that took up almost the entire boot!
This was the car that we were told would never rust!!! Hmmm ..... Well, by the end of the winter it had more rust than a 200 year old metal wheelbarrow!
Granted, I know the company has since come on a fair bit. But would I ever have a Lada again .... no, never, not even in my wildest dreams! Mind you, we were the talk of the town for a fair while! That was however probably because our Irish Wolfhound barely fit into the car and had to stick his head out the window to be comfy! Ah well!
