How often should this be done? Vehicle in question is a 2006 150bhp turbo-diesel Vectra 6 speed automatic. The book is full of rubbish relating to the dealer. I won't let them loose on my lawnmower let alone my jamjar.

Mileage is coming up to 200,000

It's up to the owner, but for that sort of mileage common sense says, replace, also the cam belt if not already done, if that was my car there would be a few other fluid's to change, Brake, Coolant.
