Hi,I own a 2006 Fiesta, every so often,it did it yesterday,I'm driving along and the car appears as if it is being starved of petrol, which it isn't.It only lasts for a couple of seconds and dosen't cut out, then picks up again and all is fine. There is no telling when this is going to happen,it seems to please its self.Any ideas? Thanks

It sits in the pipe right on the outlet from the airbox, it's the thin wire that needs to be clean, so very carefully clean it using IPA or carb cleaner (I say very carefully because if you break the wire you'll need to buy a new MAF sensor and they are not cheap)
