visited morrisons earlier...
i entered the car park to find that the entire one half of the car park is for parent and child...the remainder were several hundred yards further from the store. With several spaces for disabled(with which i have no complaint) it left little for others. Upon walking from a space that i eventually found i observed adultswith children of 14 years plus parked in the parent and family spaces.I find this very frustrating ,or is it just me being horrid? Ialso now see that child seats are kept permanently fixed in the cars with no child in tow....obviously to give the impression to any car park patroler that they are ok to park there.
Wont be going to that store again.

Our local Tesco and Coop shops follow this policy. I can fully understand the provision of wider spaces for the genuinely disabled and M&C to give improved access and to avoid damage by car doors. If you don't need such spaces, PLEASE leave them free for those who are genuinely needy.
Its honestly the space you need Jimmy, not the closeness to the store although that is a bonus if I'm honest. Let me explain why I need one of these big spaces when I do my shopping. I am a childminder with 3 kids all under 2. I have 3 car seats all on the back seat of my car. I get the eldest out first who stands next to the car while I get out the next 2. I have to have my door open as wide as it goes to do this. If in a normal space with a car parked next to you you cannot do this without the door resting on their door which could potentially mark it and there wouldnt be enough room to lean over anyway with a toddler stood next to you. If I cannot find a p&c space I simply take up 2 normal spaces.
