Anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost me to have a new door fitted on my old ford fiesta it is 1999 zetec

Try a breakers yard, you might just find a good one on a write off vehicle. Shouldn't cost the earth to spray and fit, Good luck.

Yes ... look for a breaker the same colour and fit the whole door.
Check Central locking .. Electric windows.
Window mechanism, if changed needs riveting to door inner skin .. or bolting back on.

If you use the net you can search the countr's breakers for a door of the same colour as your car.

Search .. 'your car make' 'model name' and 'breaking' .. like this .....

Then look through for correct body (as a 3-dr will have longer doors)
Look through results for one same colour and send them a message.

The trouble & strife has a Fiesta of that shape, they're a doddle to work on yourself, really simple. The car is too. Just as well really, the amount of stuff that has gone wrong on it. She's a bit of a car breaker my missus.

I've got one too, and the driver's door is rusting.

However I wouldn't know where to start changing a door over. I can see the lock being a problem.

I don't know how handy Tomking is with a spanner, but I guess from the question that she wants to pay someone else to do it.

For my benefit too, would this be expensive?

Try getting a friend to do the work as a favour, you risk getting ripped off otherwise. There must be someone you know who will oblige if you flutter your eyelashes at them.
