they come to your house, take out broken one and replace it, voila!

We had ours done a few weeks ago, only reason they had to come back 2 days later was because our screen is heated and needed ordering in
They use a quick drying resin filler that is nearly invisible to the eye and strong.
If the window is too badly damaged they replace it.
For repairs they inject a special resin into the small cracks, under vacuum so the resin gets into all the minute cracks. The resin (which has the same refractive index as glass) then hardens and makes a solid bond.
as said but its actually cured with UV light and they are not an invisible repair as the adverts would have you think...
ah you meant the instant chip repairs
And chas is right, they are not invisible by any stretch of the imagination
The resin has a different refractive index to glass so as mentioned not invisible.
And your insurer may not cover the cost of the first one as some claim it comes out of your agreed excess.
