Basically, buy copper cabled leads, the thicker the better, to deliver as much power as quickly as possible. Cheap thin leads cannot carry enough.
i have a little convertible that i connect to one of those trickle charger gadget things when im not using it. it keeps the battery topped up with charge all the time. You dont have to take the battery off it joins to it on the car.

You can purchase solar panels that connected to your battery, will keep it topped up. Assuming all is ok with your car, it is probably something small like a clock which is draining the battery, the solar device would easily compensate for that.
i am told it is also the alarm that drains it over a period of standing.
Ideally, you should try to prevent the battery from going flat (trickle charger or solar charger, as above) rather than having to jump-start it. Letting the battery go flat on numerous occasions does nothing for it's lifespan.
As Celtic says thick copper cable with good strong clamps is what you need
how about i new battery
Try disconnecting the battery while the car is not being used, the immobiliser and alarm system will be slowly but surely draining the battery. Either that or have a freshly charged battery ready to fit as soon as you return and put the original back on charge. The best solution is to have a battery conditioner connected to the battery if you have some mains power convenient. You mention jump leads, but they are only any use if you have another car to get the jump start from. If you are unlucky you can damage your vehicle electrics [or the donor vehicle's] by using jump leads, so avoid this if you can.
