Help needed

I have a corsa sxi 1.2 04 when engine is running the engine warning light comes on , but all levels are ok ,however it does judder when running. can anyone suggest what options i have to resolve the problem also will it be exspensive ?

Does it Blue smoke? Burning oil / worn unit? Idle in need of adjustment,

could be contaminated fuel or dirt blockage or could be slipping drive belt. you nedd to get it checked. it may be something very minor so you need to go somewhere you trust that wont exaggerate the problem.

I have not seen any blue smoke

Yes it does use oil I would say more than usual

Its either Valve stem seals or Piston Rings Barry, the best way & the correct answer, get the car to a local family run garage ( NOT K.F.) & get them to compression test the car, it will give you the answer you want! either get rid or repair, if you decide on the repair just think about this, It is quicker to get a recon unit & it works out cheaper in the long run with time.

You need to take it to a qualified man with diagnostic equipment.

He can read the fault codes, and see what is wrong.

Will it be expensive? Unfortunately, yes.
Any time you pay a man to look at a car it is expensive.
