i bought a car it has 117000 miles on it, how much longer will it go??

How long is a piece of string?  It could last 6,000 miles, it could last another 100,000+ miles.  Just keep checking for oil leaks, make sure you change the anti-freeze regularly (keep it green looking, has corrosion inhibiter in it) and make sure that cambelt is changed regularly!

My friend had one of these.

It did 117001 miles, then it caught fire and blew up!

I think it will make 117,153 and then blow up.  Good Luck.
