Going away this Summer, Greece/Cyprus/Spain or similar. First time away as a 'family man' and I'm wondering about requirements for driving when away? In the past I've always traded my passport for a motorbike, no questions asked etc, but obviously these days I've got to be more responsible... Does my current driving licence / insurance cover me for a small car / jeep, or is it going to cost? Grateful for any information.

Full UK Licence required in the countries stated for car hire purposes, insurance will come in with the car hire costs, just make sure you take out the liability insurance as well, if you choose Cyprus for your vacation check out Petsas Car Hire as far as I am concerned the best on the island all inclusive in price, have used them about 8 times now, www.petsas.com    Enjoy

That should be www.petsas.com.cy

Don't seem to be very cheap from their web-site though!
