look up midwales offroaders we do a lot of trips and ask for no money (mostly midwales New Radnor Ellyn macyllith etc). My husband says gloucestershire has a fair few.
Go with someone, its all i ask as if you get stuck someone is with you to rescue you.

Thanks firewatch. I have a winch to get me out of trouble, as long as there's a tree nearby!! I am looking for somewhere a bit closer to home but do you have any addresses or could you give directions etc etc
im just having a mooch for you look up BOATs (byways open to all traffic). Look out for lanes with TRO (means they are being repaired)

oooh, thanks for that. so do i look for byways or green lanes??
Byways hun, green lanes are for the die hards lol
I am sure that you do not have to belong to a club, if they are open to a club to use they should be open to the general public whether it is motorcycles or 4x4s.
